There is a beautiful garden with seating to enjoy a quiet moment and
you have your own access with deck & table & chairs. Enjoy the
native birds & water fowl that share their habitat with you.
Lake Wakatipu is only 50m from your doorstep and is great for fishing. Have a go at catching a salmon, brown or rainbow trout. We can arrange a fishing license for you.

Local Activities
Golf
Kingston has a nine hole golf course with views overlooking Lake
Wakatipu. Tranquillity lodge have complimentary golf clubs for
your use. Green Fees $10 per person
Outdoor Lawn Bowls
Kingston has an outdoor bowing rink for use during the summer
months. Bowls available also.
Walking
tracks
There are numerous walking tracks within Kingston township with
varying degrees of fitness required. There is a lakeside track for
moderate fitness, a walk South to the Allendale Valley where you can
view the ruins on the original homestead. This is an easy walk and
for the fitter their is a steep climb up Shirttail rock to
experience views overlooking Kingston township.
Fishing
Fishing guides by prior arrangement. Close proximity to
world
renowned trout fly fishing streams.
Back country fly fishing by helicopter by prior arrangement.
Unfortunately the famous Kingston Flyer steam train
is not operating at present.
